MARION VEBERMarion spent 10 years in the French civil society sector, notably as program director for an alter-globalization foundation. She has supported the work of global partners fighting against extractivism, biopiracy and the violation of their human rights. Marion has produced many publications for a social and decolonial ecology that contributed to prominent campaigns across France and at the UN level. She also co-wrote the book "Donnons vie aux utopies. Pour une métamorphose radicale."
SAM EDWARDSSam is a freelance investigative journalist and writer who has worked from Spain, Chile and Mexico and is based in the UK. He has been a correspondent for Reuters and Bloomberg Industry, and his work has also appeared in The Guardian, Foreign Affairs and The Nation, among others. SANTI ALVAREZ-FERNANDEZSanti is a scientific researcher with a special interest in marine ecological changes and global change patterns. He has a background in Marine Ecology and Environmental Management and conducted his PhD at the Wageningen University in The Netherlands, gaining a wide experience in large datasets analysis and management, using only open-source technology (R statistical packages) for the last 15 years.
